New SleeveNomad Foods is committed to making all of our business practices easy on the planet. In fact our core mission statement is: Healthy People, Healthy Planet, and Healthy Communities. To this end we have redesigned our packages to reduce cardboard waste. We have cut down our entree boxes by nearly 20% by making them into sleeves. In addition to reducing the initial paper materials this also reduces the weight of our products, there by cutting back on fuel used in transportation as well. We are committed to continuing to innovate in our business practices and contribute to community initiatives which foster reducing waste, reusing materials, and creating sustainable systems.

The Paleo Diet - Made famous by the CrossFit movement and Megan Fox, also popularly referred to as the caveman diet, Stone Age diet and hunter-gatherer diet, is a nutritional plan based on the presumed ancient diet of wild plants and animals that various human species habitually consumed during the Paleolithic era—a period of about 2.5 million years duration that ended around 10,000 years ago with the development of agriculture. Centered on commonly available modern foods, the “contemporary” Paleolithic diet consists mainly of meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, roots, and nuts, and excludes grains, legumes, dairy products, salt, refined sugar, and processed oils. The Zone Diet – The Zone diet, popularized by Jennifer Aniston, does not recommend that you eat fewer calories than you’re currently consuming, just different ones. Although the book has a more complicated and exacting measurement of what to eat, it can be simplified as: A small amount of protein at every meal (approximately the size of your palm or one small chicken breast) and at every snack (one in the late afternoon, one in the late evening).
